Michael Klotz

Creative Director

With more than 25 years of experience in graphic design, Mike has contributed his creative talents to drive content with a visual flair. Starting his career in communication arts as an apprentice at his father’s package design studio, Don Klotz Associates. Serving global brands, such as, Nestle, General Foods, Olay, Richardson-Vick’s, as well as a multitude of local businesses and town organizations with distinguished concept and design development.

Mike received a BFA in graphic design from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and hired by PolyGram Records, Inc. as Art Director, designing logos, creating illustrations, packaging and promotional material for bands, such as, The Allman Brothers Band, The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, Meat Puppets and more. Moving back to Connecticut, Mike took charge as Art Director of New Canaan, Darien and Rowayton magazine. Directing photo shoots, creating layouts and defining and refining a high style magazine. Mike is currently Creative Director of KLOTZ DESIGN STUDIO, implementing design strategies for an ever increasing range of clients.
